How did you find someone to help with promotion and social media? This is my achilles heal and I know I need help but don't know how to go about finding it. Suggestions?
Love this. I sent it to my husband who is a freelance art director because I love your idea of paying someone to do promotion - brilliant idea. I especially love the end of this piece and Joanna's words of wisdom: "Live the questions now. Perhaps you then may, gradually, without noticing, one day in the future, live into the answers." Beautiful.
I am so thankful for your writing. I work in emergency preparedness (specifically coastal storms in NY) and have two small kids. I’m surrounded by the facts of climate change every day but have little emotional input. I’m devastated at work and at home- watching my children grow into this world. I don’t usually have an opportunity to put that grief into words but I’m so thankful you do that for us.
I love this evolution for you - I still remember a million years ago when you said freelancing was “intellectual piecework.” Times change! But glad to see you continuing to forge onwards.
This was great! All of this is really helpful. Thank you.
I tried to click two different links to the survey and neither worked for me. I also copied the url to another browser and that said it was "redirecting" too many times. I'm not sure what's up but I wanted to let you know in case you weren't getting tons of responses.
congrats Anya!
Thanks Elissa!

I posted a job description as a status on LinkedIn and I had a real task to complete as a test for applicants.
Interesting! I never would have thought of that...probably why I need social media help! What's a reasonable rate to pay? Again, I have no clue.
$40/hour and up
